Celebrating 10 Years of Ncite Partners

A Decade in Review with Corey Walker
Ten years ago, we had what some would probably call a crazy idea.
After living in Oklahoma for only three years, we decided to start a recruiting firm from the ground up. We didn’t have a long history in the state or an established name in the industry, but we believed recruiting could be done differently. Relationships should come before transactions, transparency should always matter, and people deserve to be treated with honesty, respect, and care.
Looking back now, it’s incredible to think about how much has changed over the past decade.
Like most businesses, our journey has been filled with highs and lows. There have been exciting milestones, difficult decisions, moments of uncertainty, and lessons that could only be learned through experience. Building a business has been far more challenging than I ever imagined it would be, but it has also been far more rewarding than I ever expected.
If there is one thing these past ten years have taught me, it’s that success is never built alone.
The most meaningful part of this journey has always been the people. From the clients who trusted us with some of their most important hiring decisions, to the candidates who allowed us to play a small role in their careers, to the mentors who challenged and encouraged us, every chapter of this story has been shaped by relationships.
Many of you believed in us long before we had much of a track record. You opened doors, made introductions, referred friends and colleagues, offered advice when we needed it most, and continued to encourage us through every season. Your support has made the long days feel shorter, the difficult moments more manageable, and the victories that much sweeter. For that, we are incredibly grateful.
I’m also thankful for the team that makes Ncite Partners what it is today.
I can honestly say I would not be here without them. Every day they represent our company with professionalism, integrity, and genuine care for the people we serve. They consistently go above and beyond for our clients, our candidates, and each other, and they make me proud to be part of this team.
A special thank you to Clair Castleberry, Callie Tate, and Abbey Walker. Your commitment, passion, and unwavering support have helped shape not only this company but also the culture we strive to protect every day. Thank you for everything you have done and continue to do.
We are also incredibly proud that we have been able to build this company right here in Oklahoma. This community has welcomed us, challenged us, and provided opportunities we could have never anticipated ten years ago. Watching Oklahoma continue to grow while growing alongside it has been something we don’t take for granted.
As we celebrate this milestone, we’re reminded that the work has never really been about filling positions. It’s about helping companies grow, helping people build meaningful careers, and creating lasting relationships that extend far beyond a single placement.
The road has been winding, challenging, and full of unexpected turns, but I truly wouldn’t change a single part of the journey. Every experience has shaped who we are today and prepared us for what’s ahead.
To everyone who has been part of these first ten years, thank you. We are grateful for your trust, your friendship, and your support.
Here’s to the next ten years.
